What is 9:16? At its basic it’s an aspect ratio. It’s certainly tall and it’s a screen size I’ve not considered until Apple added video to the iPhone. There are 2 categories for this online festival. One Shot: It is a video in one shot. Maybe it’s shot on an iPhone 3GS since that is the reason for this format and festival, but it does not have to be. It is one shot no longer than 3 minutes....
Watchmy two good friends, zach pollakoff and brian kerr started a record label called 2syllable. . this is the video by Scott Ross for one of their bands, Holiday Shores (formerly called continental divide). And yes, it premiered on pitchfork today and the band will be on this months urban outfitters compilation cd.
