Los Angeles
I’m going to Los Angeles at the end of August. I’ve never been (actually I did go when I was 10 but I don’t think that really counts) so I’m looking for recommendations of fun things to do.  What I like: Art / Movies / Vintage furniture & clothing / Cheap street food  Suggestions are welcome (and appreciated).

“As to whether I have been deceived, disillusioned…The answer is yes, I suppose. I had the misfortune to be nourished by the dreams and visions of great Americans- the poets and seers. Some other breed of man has won out. The world which is in the making fills me with dread. I have seen it germinate; I can read it like a blue-print. It is not a world I want to live in. It is a wold...

This documentary on the artist duo TYPE A screened before my film last night at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. A really fascinating look into the creative process….and especially interesting for anyone who collaborates with others to create art.
